Shipping Details

At THATCH, our small but mighty team is committed to getting your order processed, shipped, and delivered as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Processing Times

  • All jewelry is carefully hand-packed and shipped from our San Diego studio. In-stock orders are processed within 1–3 business days.
  • Pre-orders typically ship within 3–5 weeks. For the most accurate estimated ship date, please refer to the product page.

Please note that we do not ship on weekends or major holidays.

Domestic Shipping

  • U.S. orders under $200 ship via Ground for a flat rate of $12. Orders over $200 qualify for free Ground shipping.
  • Once your order has been processed, Ground delivery typically takes 1–5 business days.
  • For expedited shipping (2-Day or Next-Day), transit time begins once the package is picked up by the carrier. Weekends are not included in transit times (for example, an order shipped on Friday via Next-Day will be delivered on Monday).

Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary due to carrier volume, weather, or other unforeseen delays. THATCH is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier or other circumstances outside of our control.

International Shipping

  • Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the shipping address and order size.
  • We offer both DHL eCommerce (7– 14 business days) and DHL Express (1–3 business days), with rates calculated at checkout.
  • In some cases, duties and taxes may be collected upon delivery. These fees are the responsibility of the customer, are determined by the destination country and are outside of our control.

Please note that international fees and taxes are non-refundable.

Lost Packages

  • If your tracking shows delivered but you’re unable to locate your package, please first check the carrier’s tracking page for the most up-to-date information and delivery photo. We also recommend checking around your delivery area, with neighbors, or contacting the carrier directly.
  • If you opt into Checkout+ Package Protection, your order is insured! Please submit a claim through our return portal. Your claim can take up to 3 business days for review and if approved, a replacement will be issued.

Important: Package Protection is the best way to ensure coverage for lost or stolen packages. While THATCH is not responsible for uninsured packages, we’re here to help wherever possible. For any questions, please contact our Customer Care team at: hello@shopthatch.com
